This is possibly the first Wesleyan Chapel in Marsden, built in 1824 on Brougham Road, and demolished in 1867. It was replaced by a new chapel in 1871, which has also been demolished. A school has since been built on the site of the old Chapel. Information provided by Stan Walker 25.02.2011.
