A bronze halfpenny coin which has been polished on both sides in order to produce a love token; on one side is engraved - within a ring of stamped circles - IS above the date 1794; on the other side is a half-finished version of roughly the same design, though here the date appears to be 1795; a hole has been punched towards the edge of the coin; the quality of engraving is poor.
