A bronze Anglesey 'Druid penny', produced by the Parys Mine Company circa 1787, which has been polished on one side in order to produce a memento; on the reverse is a shield commemorating the birth of James Knot 1774; the obverse commemorates the death of Ester Knot in 1794 - the faint image of the hooded druid on the original token is still faintly visible, surrounded by the added text.
