The Mosquito was a British multi-role combat aircraft that served during the Second World War and the Post-war era. To its crew it was affectionately known as the "Mossie", but also due to the aircraft being mainly constructed of wood it was nicknamed "The Wooden Wonder."

When the Mosquito entered production in 1941, it was one of the fastest operational aircraft in the world.

The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft, which was used by the Royal Air Force and many other allied countries throughout the Second World War.

It was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft, and was the only British fighter in production throughout the war.

Rangoon (Yangon) was the former capital of Burma.
